Second-story dining offers an unobstructed ocean view with soft breezes, vibrant surroundings, and sensational sunsets for the perfect beachside experience. The menu was carefully created by Executive Chef Eric Sarkisian, who set out to design an inventive seasonal menu. His vision combines fresh, locally sourced ingredients from both land and sea with a fresh twist on traditional cooking methods. Paired with the house Brew Master’s eight craft beers, selections take on an element of magic. For lunch, dine on starters like Fried Dill Planks – golden beer battered pickles served with a spicy ranch dressing. Enjoy a delicious soup, salad, or one of their famous flatbreads like the Rattlesnake Jalapeno, with bacon, chorizo, achiote cream cheese, and fresh mozzarella.

A popular dish you won’t want to miss out on is the Lobster Mac & Cheese – Maine lobster, rigatoni, shaved parmesan, and white cheddar bechamel. As they become available, we will alert you about the releases and share the recipes for those diverse beers. Last year, San Diego Beer News (SDBN) rolled out its inaugural Homebrew Summer, a program designed to connect local homebrewers with professional beermakers throughout the county. Over the sunny season, a dozen San Diego breweries teamed with recreational brewers to bring their homespun recipes to life and tap their beers at their tasting rooms, while 13 other breweries shared homebrew-scaled versions of some of their most popular recipes via the SDBN website. It was such a smashing success that Homebrew Summer is back for a second year, and it’ll be even bigger and better this time around. Even if you’re not a person who loves beer, Pacific Beach AleHouse has wonderful views to accompany the brews.
The Beers
Medium bodied with sweet bread character hiding behind intense lemon flavor from zest. A robust stout with dominating coffee aroma, balanced by the presence of oatmeal and the complexity and mouth feel brought by a nitogen gas blend. This beer was made in collaboration with our Chef and contains fifteen ponds of Cafe Moto Phillip Rally whole beans, boasting smoked almonds and cocoa nib characteristics. These include Moe’s Mission Beach, Backyard Kitchen & Tap, and Union Kitchen & Tap in the Gaslamp quarter and Encinitas.

The walls are a deep red on the top half and stone on the lower half; a wall of windows allows you to see straight into the microbrewery. Executive Chef Eric Sarkisian has created an Inventive seasonal menu that reflects a repertoire of new and traditional cooking methods enhanced by the freshest locally sourced ingredients available from land. Crane calls it “classic pub food” made from scratch, in-house and with love. Some customer faves start with lip-puckering fried pickles paired with sriracha ranch sauce, and jumbo Bavarian pretzels accompanied by a roasted jalapeno beer cheese fondue and honey Dijon dipping sauces that get the juices flowing for bigger things to come.
